Apple iPod photo (2004)
The first iPod with a color screen, able to show album art and photos.
The iPod photo added a 65,536-color display so users could browse photos transferred from iTunes or iPhoto and view album art. It could output slideshows to a TV with an optional cable. Pricing was high at launch, and by February 2005 Apple cut prices and added a 30 GB model. Collectors prize it as the first color iPod and the bridge to the video iPod.
