Apple iPod (5th generation) (2005)
The first iPod with video playback, with a larger 2.5 inch screen, in white or black.
The iPod video, often called the 5th generation, added video playback and a 2.5 inch QVGA screen, supported by iTunes video sales. It came in white or black. USB 2.0 became the sync interface. The 'Late 2006' revision on September 12, 2006 (5.5G) raised capacity to 80 GB, brightened the screen and added search.
