Apple iPod U2 Special Edition (2004)
A black iPod with a red Click Wheel and engraved signatures of the four members of U2.
The U2 Special Edition was Apple's first branded iPod, tied to the band's album and a TV campaign. It had a black front with a red Click Wheel and engraved signatures on the back. It carried a $50 premium over the standard 20 GB model. Later U2 editions followed, including a color-display version in June 2006 and a 5th generation model.
