Microsoft Z-80 SoftCard (1980)
Microsoft's first hardware product, a Z80 card that let the Apple II run CP/M.
Built around a Zilog Z80 with TTL glue logic, it gave the Apple II access to CP/M business software such as WordStar and many compilers. Reportedly 5,000 units sold in three months, making it the best-selling CP/M hardware of its time.
