Apple III (1980)
Apple's business-oriented successor to the Apple II, announced May 19, 1980 and shipping in late November. A hardware problem forced a recall of about 14,000 units, and it was reintroduced November 9, 1981.
Business-oriented Apple II successor that sold only 65,000 to 75,000 units in its original form. The first production run was recalled and the machine was reintroduced in 1981.
