First Intel FPU fully compliant with IEEE 754, for the 386.
The 80387DX shipped in 1987 at 16 to 33 MHz and was much faster than the 8087 and 80287. Initial bulk price was $500 per 100, retail $795. CAD, spreadsheets and early 3D software used it.
