Nikon D70 (2004)
6.1 MP entry DSLR, Nikon's first consumer-level DSLR.
Announced in 2004 at $999, the D70 competed head-on with the Canon 300D. It used CompactFlash or MicroDrive cards and was built at Nikon's Thailand factory. Successors were the D70s, D80 and D90.
