Xerox Alto (1973)
Xerox PARC's Alto was first operational on March 1, 1973. It had a bitmapped portrait display and a three-button mouse, and it influenced the Mac and Windows.
First operational March 1, 1973. About 120 Alto I units were built, followed by roughly 2,000 Alto II units.
