The Oregon Trail (1971 original) (1971)
Don Rawitsch, Bill Heinemann and Paul Dillenberger, Carleton College student teachers, developed the first Oregon Trail on December 3, 1971.
Written in HP Time-Shared BASIC for an HP 2100 minicomputer over two weeks. Rawitsch recreated it for MECC in 1975.
