SyQuest SQ555 (1986)
A 44 MB removable hard disk cartridge that dominated desktop publishing.
SyQuest announced the SQ555 drive and SQ400 cartridge in 1986; 88 MB doubled-up versions arrived in 1991. Mac designers used the cartridges to ship large graphic files to service bureaus. SyQuest later made EZ135, EZFlyer and SyJet before losing to Zip.
