Iomega Bernoulli Box (1982)
A removable 10 MB cartridge drive that was the ancestor of Iomega's later Zip and Jaz.
The first Bernoulli Box shipped in 1982 with 10 MB cartridges and a Mac version (5 MB) followed in 1985. Its flexible disk spun against the Bernoulli effect so it was far more shock-tolerant than a hard disk. It sold to designers and offices that needed big removable storage.
