Sega Master System II (1990)
A cost-reduced Master System redesign with no card slot and no reset button. It was the version most Europeans and Australians grew up with.
Released in 1990 across North America, Australasia and Europe, the Master System II dropped the Sega Card slot and the built-in game in some regions. Wikipedia lists about 13 million Master System units sold worldwide, excluding later Brazilian sales by Tectoy, which reported 8 million Master System-branded units by 2016. Phantasy Star, Alex Kidd in Miracle World and Wonder Boy III were among its library highlights.
