Lucent WaveLAN (1990)
An early wireless LAN adapter, the ancestor of Wi-Fi.
Marketed as a wireless alternative to Ethernet and Token Ring, it ran 2 Mbit/s over 900 MHz or 2.4 GHz bands. NCR's WaveLAN work fed into the IEEE 802.11 standard.
