PlayStation Portable (Japan) (2004)
Sony's first handheld launched in Japan on December 12, 2004, with a 4.3 inch widescreen display and Universal Media Disc games. North America and Europe followed in 2005.
Handheld with two 333 MHz MIPS processors (initially limited to 222 MHz), 32 MB of RAM and a 480x272 LCD. Games shipped on UMD discs.
