Ensoniq AudioPCI (1997)
A cheap PCI sound chip that became the basis of the Sound Blaster PCI line after Creative bought Ensoniq.
Designed as a low-cost chip that OEMs could place on motherboards. Creative acquired Ensoniq in 1998 for $77 million.
