Duke Nukem II (1993)
Apogee.
Duke Nukem II is a 256-color VGA platformer with four episodes of eight levels each. Development took almost two years. Players use flamethrower, laser and rocket launcher weapons, ladders, elevators and teleporters, with parallax scrolling backgrounds. Todd Replogle, George Broussard and Scott Miller designed it, Tom Hall wrote the story and Robert Prince composed the music. The GBC port scored 73% on GameRankings and the iOS version 50/100 on Metacritic.
