CompactFlash (1994)
The compact flash card format first made by SanDisk.
CompactFlash was specified and first manufactured by SanDisk in 1994 with 2 to 10 MB, using a 50-pin subset of PCMCIA. It became popular in digital cameras and PDAs and could run as an IDE device.
