Bandai Playdia (1994)
An 8-bit FMV console for young children, built around anime and educational discs.
Sold only in Japan in 1994 at 24,800 yen with an infrared controller. Discs featured Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon and Anpanman with minimal interactivity. Sales were poor and it ended in 1996; Banpresto reused unsold units in arcade cabinets.
