Microsoft's first product, a BASIC interpreter for the Altair 8800, first released July 1, 1975 after a March 1975 demo in Albuquerque.
Written by Bill Gates, Paul Allen and Monte Davidoff. October 1975 prices were $150 (4K), $200 (8K) and $350 (Extended).
