Tim Sweeney's text-mode game-creation system.
Tim Sweeney's text-mode game and game-creation system, released in January 1991 under the Potomac Computer Systems name that later became Epic MegaGames. It came with a built-in editor and a scripting language called ZZT-OOP, and its first world was free to share. It showed a whole generation of kids that they could make their own games, and MegaZeux was made in its spirit.
