T-Mobile Sidekick (Danger Hiptop) (2002)
The original Danger Hiptop launched on October 1, 2002 with T-Mobile as the Sidekick, with a swivel screen and a hidden QWERTY keyboard. The $200 price needed a $40 per month service plan.
Swivel-screen GSM/GPRS device with integrated AOL Instant Messenger and a full HTML web browser, built by Flextronics. A color version followed in June 2003.
