Sega Genesis Model 2 (1993)
The smaller, cheaper 1993 redesign of the Genesis (Mega Drive II).
A more compact, lower-power redesign released in 1993. It supported the Sega CD through a separate Model 2 CD unit, and it was followed by the CDX and the budget Genesis 3.
