Raspberry Pi Model B (2012)
Credit-card sized ARM computer launched February 29, 2012 by the Raspberry Pi Foundation. It used a Broadcom BCM2835 chip, 256 MB of RAM, two USB ports, HDMI and Ethernet.
First commercial Raspberry Pi, aimed at teaching programming. The Foundation was established in 2008 in Cambridge, UK.
