PowerBook 3400c (1997)
Apple's first PowerBook with a PCI architecture and EDO memory, built around a 603e PowerPC at 180 to 240 MHz.
The first PowerBook with a PCI-based architecture, a built-in trackpad and a wider removable bay that took a CD reader. It had a 12.1 inch active-matrix display.
