Sony's ninth-generation console with an SSD and a haptic DualSense controller.
Launched November 12, 2020 in select regions and worldwide a week later at $499 (disc) and $399 (Digital Edition). It used an 8-core Zen 2 and an RDNA 2 GPU at 10.28 TFLOPS. A Slim revision came in November 2023 and the PS5 Pro on November 7, 2024 at $699. It reached 95 million units by June 2026.
