New Nintendo 3DS (2014)
Faster 3DS with a C-stick, NFC for amiibo and face-tracking 3D. Japan got it Oct 11, 2014; North America on Feb 13, 2015, at first only as the $199.99 New 3DS XL.
Released in Japan October 11, 2014. The XL reached North America February 13, 2015 and the smaller model September 25, 2015. A quad-core ARM11 at 804 MHz and 256 MB RAM enabled exclusives such as Xenoblade Chronicles 3D. It shipped 14.74 million units.
