MS-DOS 2.0 (1983)
Released with the IBM PC/XT on March 8, 1983. First DOS with hard disk (subdirectory) support and 360 KB double-sided floppy support.
Introduced with the IBM PC XT, it added a hierarchical directory structure, hard-disk support and installable device drivers, borrowing ideas from Unix.
