Macintosh Hard Disk 20 (1985)
Apple's first external hard disk for the Mac, 20 MB at $1,495.
It plugged into the floppy port at 500 kbit/s and worked with the Macintosh 512K and Plus (later also the SE, not the SE/30). The original 128K Mac lacked the RAM for the needed file system. It made the Mac usable for real work, finally letting people stop swapping floppies.
