Internet Explorer 3 (1996)
Microsoft's first serious browser rival to Netscape Navigator, released for Windows on August 13, 1996. It added CSS, ActiveX and Java support.
Wikipedia describes it as the first commercial browser with CSS support. The Mac version followed in January 1997.
