Game Boy Advance (Japan) (2001)
The 32-bit successor to Game Boy Color, launched in Japan ahead of North America.
Released in Japan on 21 March 2001, the GBA had a 32-bit ARM CPU and was backward compatible with Game Boy and Color games. The SP and Micro refreshed it. Lifetime sales passed 81 million.
