Apple SuperDrive (1988)
Apple's 1.44 MB high-density floppy drive, first shipped in the Macintosh IIx in 1988. It could also read and write MS-DOS formatted disks.
Apple's high-density drive arrived with the Mac IIx and SE/30 era Macs and could read DOS-formatted disks through Apple File Exchange. It allowed easy file swaps with PCs.
